This past week our very own Teresa Holland Bachman was the proud recipient of the 2015 All-American Award from the Greater Louisville UK Alumni Club, presented at UK’s football kick-off luncheon. Mrs. Bachman has an extensive love for the UK Wildcats and continues to do great work for Kentucky.
Mrs. Bachman comes from a long line of University of Kentucky graduates and continues to support the University as her two of her children are also UK alumni. She has always been vested in making the Louisville area a better place to live, work and raise a family. She is founding member of the UK Women in Philanthropy, a Life Member of the UK Alumni Association and a UK Fellow. She has also served as a member of the Louisville Junior League and served on the Board of Wednesday’s Child. Currently, she is a member of the Southeast Christian Church and serves on The Southeast Outlook Newspaper Board.
Mrs. Bachman continues to set the wonderful example that choosing love for your University and community is a lifetime commitment.
First awarded in 1984, the UK Greater Louisville Alumni Award was established to award individuals of personal success in their chosen field. This award represents those who are natives of Greater Louisville or have worked most of their professional life in Louisville. The recipient should be an active member in the community and committed to making Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky a better place. It is preferable that the recipient be a UK graduate, but not required. Finally, the person presented with the “All American Award” must have a true dedication and love for the University of Kentucky.
All of us at Bachman Chevrolet are proud of the work and commitment Mrs. Bachman has done and is continuing to do for the community. Congratulations on this achievement!
