Chevy Colorado

Since 2012, Chevy lovers have had to look elsewhere if they wanted a new, small sized truck. That’s the last year the Chevrolet Colorado was in production. But the popularity of smaller trucks had Chevrolet rethinking that decision, and soon announced that an all new Colorado would be back in 2015. Since launching its Colorado Build Your Own website on September 3, 2014, consumers have created thousands of configurations of the Colorado, reaffirming its decision that bringing back this popular truck back was the right move.

“The Colorado was designed to meet the demands of the modern midsized truck buyer, and now we’re fulfilling the demand they’ve placed on us,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet. “Chevrolet and everyone at the Wentzville plant has worked hard to get the truck out on time to fulfill as soon as possible the orders our dealers have placed.”

Quick-hit features of the Colorado include:

  • Estimated 26mpg hwy
  • Forward collision alert technology, a system that uses smart cameras to constantly monitor traffic for stopped or slowing vehicles and other potential danger to help prevent collisions before they happen
  • Available EZ lift tailgate
  • Bed divider that allows you to section off a portion of the bed for better cargo management
  • Fully-boxed frame allowing for a smooth, comfortable ride
  • Standard rear vision camera
  • Available 4G LTE high-speed Wi-Fi connection powered by OnStar

Based on an analysis of published reviews and test drives of the Chevrolet Colorado, as well as reliability and safety data, U.S. News and World Report has ranked the Colorado #1 in the compact pickup truck category. Their report states: “According to auto critics, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado’s cabin is very quiet and looks and feels much nicer than that of its rivals, with an attractive design and high-quality, soft-touch materials. Auto journalists are pleased with the ample headroom and legroom in the front seats. As with most trucks in the class, they report that the rear seats in extended cab models are fairly cramped for adults. However, crew cab models offer plenty of rear-seat legroom, according to test drivers.”

Bachman Chevrolet is happy to announce the arrival of new the 2015 Chevy Colorado to our Louisville showroom. More inventory is expected in the coming months as well. We invite you to schedule a test drive and come by Bachman Chevrolet and see the Colorado in person!
