With the 2012 Chevy Malibu, you have the option to hook your phone up to the vehicle’s Bluetooth capabilities. Through your handsfree mobile device connection, you can safely access your contacts, make phone calls, and send text messages. Check out the short tutorial and instructions below:

CONNECT YOUR SMART PHONE AND THE 2012 CHEVY MALIBU BLUETOOTH

To start off, power up the car by pressing the circular power button on the dashboard.

Make sure that the Bluetooth option is activated on your smartphone.

Next, you will press and hold the button on the top-right of your steering wheel. When the system responds, you will say “Pair” and open up the Bluetooth menu on your device, selecting ‘Your Vehicle’.

Next, the voicing system will give you a pin to enter on your phone. You will then have the option to name the Bluetooth what you’d like, such as ‘Bachman Chevrolet’.

The device should be paired successfully, and you can now make calls while driving. This enables you to remain safe on the roads, all while enjoying the features available to you.
