Chevrolet silverado

The newly designed 2016 Chevy Silverado brings a much appreciated muscular look to update its popular, dependable model. Chevy truck enthusiasts have had a love affair with the Silverado since it first entered the market. Known for dependability and endurance, this latest model captures all of the capabilities Silverado owners have grown accustomed to in their vehicles, but with a new design and advanced technology to not only make your work more manageable, but your lifestyle more accessible.

Possibly the biggest difference between the 2015 and the 2016 is the newly-designed body. Both years pay deference to a masculine, bold style you can easily identify as a classic Chevy truck out on the road. But there are some inherent differences in look and feel. Here’s a breakdown of the two models.

2015 Chevy Silverado. This Silverado has a chiseled look with clean classic lines inherent in General Motor pickup trucks. This model is available with three different cargo bed lengths to better suit the purposes of individual owners. The design pays special attention to the lines and look of past GM pickups, which Chevy owners appreciate.

2016 Chevy Silverado. The overall look still makes you think, “Chevy” but with more refined features. The look includes LED lights, different grille styles for different models, and single headlights to replace the double headlight feature on past models. The durability and practicality of use are still a priority in this design, with three cargo-bed lengths for your best fit.

The Silverado’s interior was given an upgrade a few years ago and the materials used on both the 2015 and 2015 models are of excellent quality. The cab space is large—more of luxury SUV than hard-working pickup. Packages are available with cloth and top of the line leather seating. Doors were made wider on the extended cabs and entry and exit of the vehicle is far easier than past years on both models. Controls are easily accessible with plenty of space and pleasing visual appeal.

The 2015 Silverado offers the MyLink touchscreen system, allowing drivers to sync with their cell phones and conveniently control contacts, radio stations, and navigation. Siri Eyes Free and GM text message alerts are also available in the 2015.

Adding to the already user-friendly technological advancements of the previous year, the 2016 Silverado offers the MyLink Infotainment System. This system is complete with all of the features from the previous year, adding accessibility to apps and the Android Auto and Apple Car Play stores.

Both the 2015 and 2016 Chevy Silverados are easy to handle and fun to drive. They offer a luxury SUV feel, great handling, and power enough to complete the hardest jobs without sacrificing a pleasant driving experience.
