It should go without saying that here at Bachman Chevy, we are true car enthusiasts, but our passions don’t stop there. We are also dedicated to making a difference in the community, and one way we do this is by supporting local charities who are making a big difference in the Louisville area.
Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to put our two passions together during the 2017 Open Car Show we hosted in collaboration with River Cities Corvette Club. This annual car show raises money for Hosparus of Louisville – 100% of the proceeds!
Car enthusiasts from all over the Kentuckiana area came out to proudly show off their vehicles or to check out all of those beautiful cars, trucks, and motorcycles. We were thrilled to see so many people come out and support the cause, helping to raise $27,800 for Hosparus!
Making a difference: Hosparus of Louisville
Hosparus of Louisville is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals living with serious and life-limiting illnesses. Hosparus Care Teams and volunteers help patients and their families make the most of every day by providing them with medical care, pain management, counseling, companionship, spiritual care, crisis care, and so much more.
We truly believe Hosparus is an organization doing amazing, yet often challenging, work in our community and we are thankful for their dedication to helping individuals and families through very difficult times.
To those who came to the car show, we want to say a big thank you for helping us raise $27,800!

- Food of course! Brats, hot dogs, and the works
- Specialty awards including Best of Class and Best of Show
Awards were given out to the vehicles that really stood out. Bachman’s choice for Best of Show was the 1948 Studebaker Pickup!
