With an innovative power-flow screen, your car will be able to track your driving. It shows you different aspects that affect your car, such as climate settings and terrain.
The region on-demand will transfer the kinetic energy from the vehicle’s motion and store it in the battery to slow the vehicle down. This can be accessed by simply pressing a paddle connected to the steering wheel.
The Volt can be recharged through a 120-volt portable cord in around 13 hours. You can also use a professionally-installed 240-volt system that charges in around 4.5 hours. The 2017 Volt also has the ability to provide location-based charging. A programmable home setting for charging uses data from your GPS to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates at home, and begins charging immediately when you’re away.
