In 2014, an estimated 232,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 62,570 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer. About 12% of women in the U.S. will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Chances are, you or someone you know has battled or will battle this disease.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Chevrolet is stepping up in a Drive to End Breast Cancer. In fact, Chevrolet and its dealers (including Bachman Chevrolet) are teaming up with American Cancer Society for the fourth year in a row. Over the past three years, as a team, there have been 3.2 million dollars contributed and hundreds of local walks across the country supported to help increase awareness for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program.
How You Can Help
During the month of October, come into Bachman Chevrolet and test drive any Chevrolet vehicle. For every test drive, Chevrolet will contribute $10 toward the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® program. This is an excellent way for you to show your support join us in the fight.
