For those who want just a regular truck, the new Chevrolet Silverado may be the truck for you.
Yes, the 2015 Silverado Custom, which made its debut at last month’s Chicago Auto Show, offers some amenities such as power doors and windows, cruise control and 4G Wi-Fi, but, according to Car and Driver, the latest model is one that its owner won’t mind getting dirty.
“The 2015 Silverado Custom package (is) a back-to-basics hauler that adds a dash of comfort and style—but not so much that it becomes too precious to actually use (or afford),” according to the popular auto publication’s blog.
The Silverado comes available in either an economical 285-horsepower 4.3-liter V-6 or the powerful 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V-8. It also comes in both two- and four-wheel drive options. The Custom package comes only in the double-cab model. A four-wheel drive V-8 version has a starting price of less than $38,000.
If you’re looking for a truck to do truck things, the new Chevy Silverado definitely deserves some serious consideration. Contact a Bachman sales rep today to set up a test drive or learn more about the Silverado Custom.
